Step-by-step Instructions:

  • Connect the Airpods. Before you can select the Airpods as an audio device, you need to pair them with your iPhone. First, open the charging case, then press and hold the Airpods in your hand until the status light turns white. Next, tap the “Audio/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi’” button in the Control Centre, which is accessible by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Then, tap “Connect” next to the Airpods in the list of available devices. You can now remove the Airpods from their case and enjoy wireless music.
  • Select the Airpods as your Audio device. Once the Airpods are connected and ready to go, you can select them as your audio device. First, open the iTunes/Music app, and then select the Airpods as your audio device in the bottom right corner of the screen. The Airpods should now be the only audio device you hear sound from.
